In 2001, after 34 years in the mortgage business with Citibank Jerry decided to retire. His true passion is hunting and fishing as is evidenced by his collection of over 150 trophy mounts taken on hunting and fishing expeditions around the globe. After retirement his wife decided he needed to get out of the house more and give her a little space. So, he built a second home on their several hundred acre farm north of Dickson on Yellow Creek near Nashville. Then it was decided that he needed help in harvesting the many deer and turkey that were on their property as well as all the bass and perch in Yellow Creek that needed catching. So he opened Yellow Creek Outfitters. Since that time many guests have experienced the outdoors and spent quality time hunting and fishing with Jerry and Janice. The hospitality is second to none.
